Šalek lake

Bled is a tiny piece of heaven in the North-West of Slovenia. It's lake with a tiny island is very popular with the tourists. And for one day, my friend and I were tourists too :) And although I didn't take a photo of the island, I caught some bits of the lake, even with a little duck.

Golte with grandma - 19.8.2012 (part 1)

Golte is one of the destinations we visit often since it's close and beautiful. And this time, we visited it with our grandma. She turned 81 this year and she's still a very fit and lively lady. I couldn't ask for a better grandmother and role-model. But I won't post any photos of her, as I prefer keeping her and my privacy... So once again, here are some beautiful pieces of heaven called Golte.

Bohinj - 18.8.2012

Another trip I took in August was to one of my favourite places in Slovenia - Bohinj. My two friends and I set this trip up to re-connect and enjoy our time together. We used to take such trips in secondary school, then lost touch and I'm glad we found each other again. It was a great day, with great weather, amazing company and quite a lot of walking :) But we got to the perfect spot eventually.

First we visited the beautiful Vintgar gorge...

And after walking across a freezing river, we got to the perfect spot by the lake Bohinj...
