Bohinj - 18.8.2012

Another trip I took in August was to one of my favourite places in Slovenia - Bohinj. My two friends and I set this trip up to re-connect and enjoy our time together. We used to take such trips in secondary school, then lost touch and I'm glad we found each other again. It was a great day, with great weather, amazing company and quite a lot of walking :) But we got to the perfect spot eventually.

First we visited the beautiful Vintgar gorge...

And after walking across a freezing river, we got to the perfect spot by the lake Bohinj...

Camp fire - 17.8.2012

After the hiking trip with my brother, we set up a little camp fire in our backyard, where I was able to play with my camera a bit and find a few interesting shapes in the flames.

My brother noticed a dragon head on top of this one...

Okrešelj - 17.8.2012

My brother and I did some hiking to Okrešelj, a 1396m high peak in Kamnik-Savinja Alps. And though I had a bit of a hard time getting there, I managed. I'm too stubborn to quit.

Predjama castle - 30.7.2012

I visited the magnificent Predjama castle for the first time and unfortunately, I didn't get to enter it. Maybe next time :)

After our trip to Logarska, we visited the ski centre Golte. No snow, but still beautiful :)

I'm back! - Logarska valley - 26.7.2012

Before a year passes by without a new post, I finally got my act together. There are quite a lot of photos just waiting to be seen. So here we go. Let's start with the little trip I took with my friend who was visiting. Once again, my destination was the beautiful Logarska valley. And this is what we saw...
